The tuning fork, trusted tool of vocalists and instrumentalists alike for getting on pitch.I’m excited to announce that sight singing (grade 1) is now available on SightReadingMastery!

Every instrument is different, and each has its own challenges to reckon with. For singers, we’ve identified pitch, range and intervals as special challenges and worked to create exercises that address them. We’ve also developed two new features specifically for singers:

  • Starting note button – Plays the starting note of the exercise, to help vocalists find their pitch before attempting to sight read
  • Treble/bass clef toggle – Switches between treble and bass clef formats of the exercise, to accommodate vocalists of different ranges

To get a sense of how all these elements fit together, sign up for a free trial and try some exercises! As always, they’re professionally composed according to our tried-and-true grade levels.

Over the next several months we’ll be working to release more features, instruments and grade levels. If there’s something we don’t support that you’d like to see in SightReadingMastery, please let me know! I love hearing from fellow musicians and music teachers.

In the meantime, Happy Sight Reading and Sight Singing! 🙂
